“ Grabbing a quick bite for breakfast before we head out for the day, we ended up here both morning of our trip for the weekend. They were busy, but the wait was not bad. 1st visit I ordered an egg breakfast with a pancake and it was a ton of food! The food was good and the server tolerated my need for coffee in my creamer! The next morning I tried the eggs Benedict and to my surprise it wasn't bad. Coffeee was good, service was good. I recommend this place. ”
“ I must begin with the service - excellent service, cheerful servers, just a feel good place to eat! The food is fantastic, both for breakfast and an evening meal! And to top it off very reasonable prices. ”
“ I have been to many Black Bear Diners all over... But there is something about this one home at Bullhead that makes this one special and unique. That is the service, the staff and the experience. At this diner I feel like family not just a customer. I have also met some very interesting local people and made friends. The food is always great, prepared to perfection and delightful. And the portions are so huge if anyone walks out hungry it is their own doing. I highly recommend this place for all meals of the day. ”
“ The restaurant was clean and bright, the server was helpful and gracious, the food was plentiful, and I will definitely eat there again. ”
“ We had a late lunch here and enjoyed it. Huge menu with tons of items for all day breakfast and lunch/dinner. We decided on the NY strip and Tri Tip steak with the following sides: Mac n cheese, loaded grits, green beans and onion rings. The up charge for the Mac n cheese of about $4 was definitely not worth it even though it was tasty. The grits were probably the worst I've ever had unfortunately. Even paying $1.99 to load them with cheese and bacon did not help. Steaks were both good. Corn muffin and salad that comes with the meal were good, but they need to put cheese on the salads for sure. The huckleberry lemonade was also good and came with one refill. Service was good. Deserts looked great, but we didn't try any. ”
“ Quickly sat, drinks and order. 12 minutes we are delivered the usual perfect food, everytime. Always friendly and happy folks. ”
“ My favorite location of Black Bear Diner. The quality of the food is better than the others I've tried, and the service is also extremely helpful and friendly. It's like Denny's diner fare but a lot heartier, tastier, and the food feels homemade. The sandwiches are extra fresh and hearty and this place is usually packed. So much that it's not uncommon for them to be sold out of specific dishes an hour or two before closing, or to be out of mashed potatoes. I've been unable to get the chicken pot pie every time I've been here. The turkey club and the chicken avocado club sandwiches are my go-to, but I also love their full hot dinners (fried chicken, pot roast, prime rib, fried fish). Their chili, with a side of cornbread, is also solid. They have their "little less" menu which offers smaller portions at a savings. ”
“ I was traveling the through the Bullhead City/Laughlin area and stopped by this great place. Little did I know they had so many locations throughout the country! Once you walk in, the place is decorated with "Bear" themed decorations. You feel transported to the wilderness . Their "bear" theme works great! After looking at their menu, i decided on their Chicken fried steak. Their batter had an excellent crunch and the texture of the food was outstanding. The gravy pushed it over the top. It wasn't too thick. It had a good consistency and packed tom of flavor. Our server (Jessica) did an amazing job at our table. She was informative and told us everything that came with our dishes, as well as any other options we could add. She was friendly and answered all of our questions. I will have to look for more Black Bear Diners in California and hope they're as good and friendly as this location. I may have found new diner for great food! ”
